Glad to be wrong!

edited January 2010 in General Charlton
Last night when Waggy lined up to shot I shouted out no, only to see it fly in the net.

Never been so glad to be wrong! Fair play to Parky for the sub as I also wonder what he was doing taking Sam off.

  • Seriously?

I thought Sam looked very tired until the last five minutes before he was subbed.
  • I thought Sam was awful last night...why does he always looked so knackered?
  • I thought there were some positives from Sam last night, he actually went looking for the ball and did go past players (even if it was whilst cutting in)
  • Everytime Sam got the ball Hartlepool put 3 or 4 players on him, making it even harder for him to put many deliveries in.

Waggstaff again showed why he is a great impact player with his pace and I shouted don't shoot but eh scored, at the end of the season that could prove crucial
  • only thing that annoys me about sam is he seems to want to beat a player one time to many, a few times last night he done the work and had space to cross it but instead tried to beat the defender again and run out of position
fantastic strike from waggy for the goal
  • great strike the boy done well when he came on and im glad for him now he can put Lloyd sam under pressure and press a claim to start every week.
  • I did think Sam did anything great but i was thinking put waggy on for shelvey and let them have from both wings. put thinking about it that would of prob left has to lightweight.

I really think Parky has made some good calls at times this season.

Yep, Waggy and Leon had a real impact on the game and that is a good sign, for both club and manager
