[cite]Posted By: AshTray[/cite]Seems a bit odd to have a Help the Heroes 'special' and not to include this in the minutes applause, if that's the case.
Help the heroes is v Orient and a separate issue.
The annual minutes applause for those associated with Charlton is v Tranmere.
Really hope this isn't going to be one of those threads but suspect it is so I'm out

Sorry Henry, not sure what you mean by that?
Just enquiring as to whether there will be a minute's silence for the earthquake victims tomorrow and what others' expectations were.
I'm particularly pleased that the Tranmere game is the one chosen for the minutes applause.
About 20 of us will be attending a commerative dinner at The Valley at the game in memory of an old stalwart Addick, Derek (Dickie) Dychoff from Bromley and how appropriate that many of his family (including his wife Sue), will be there as well.

The same people were prolly more interested in 'Lady Sov'....
Well done to West Brom for using their shirts to promote fundraising for Haiti.
[cite]Posted By: falconwood_1[/cite]I think there shoud be a minutes silence for the guy who left his possesions in the stripper pub.
Epic Fail.
lol
Glad you can see the humour in 100,000 innocent deaths.
Bloody hell mate, chill out! i was lol'ing at falconwood saying about the minute silence for the guy who left his glasses, which was clearly meant as a joke. i do not think its funny at all about the deaths because of the earthquake, in fact it is awful!

I think it was probably the soul singer that had more attention on here too windscreen.
I was disappointed that there wasn't any recognition of the victims tonight, but I hope there will be a fitting response from the club in the coming weeks. Maybe it will be inviting an appropriate charity in one day to collect change. I have emailed the club and hopefully will be able to update those that read this thread with the response soon.
I agree with Falconwood regarding West Brom and hopefully we will follow suit and give recognition to this absolutely awful tragedy, the affects of which will go on for a very long time.

At least two_sheds didn't come on here claiming to have died in the earthquake...egh AshTray.

Everton had a minutes silence for an ex-player, Alex Parker, and also included the Earthquake victims and the Togo officials.
Edit: I thought the minutes applause v Tranmere was for those attached to the club in some way?

The landlord from the pub e-mailed me today saying sending my glasses back special delivery, what a legend. Agree though, major fail on my part.
