One or two English clubs after Yassin

DEFENDER Yassin Moutaouakil is expected to leave Charlton before the end of the January transfer window.

The club are keen to offload the right-back - the Addicks’ biggest earner - in order to ease the strain on their wage bill.

Moutaouakil spent the first half of the season on loan at Motherwell but returned to The Valley earlier this month.

“We’ve had one or two clubs in England enquire about Yassin,” boss Phil Parkinson told the South London Press.

“We would expect him to go out on loan before the end of the month.”

Found it. Regarding Otsemobor he said:

I'm sure these two sentences don't go together..?!

I thought the same thing after I'd typed them but couldn't be arsed to edit them, basically I mean he's clearly a bit of a problem and hasn't fitted in here, neither it seems has he set the world alight in Scotland + he's on big money.

The shame from my point of view is that I think he has the potential with the right coaching to be a fantastic player

I agree; he was perhaps the most exciting in terms of potential of any of Pardew's signings. Really thought we had a gem. When I saw him early on I saw nothing to change my mind. Then I go off to Uni for a while, and suddenly I hear everyone slagging him off. Does seem like it could have gone either way...
