  • Eastbound and Down is pretty awesome. Has had limited showing over here so far, so few people know about it. Is available online, though.

    Easily the best comedy shows ever.

    Only fools up until they won the lottery was brilliant. After that not so good.
  • I think Dad's Army deserves a mention. Watching that is like putting on a comfy pair of shoes.
  • How about Last of the Summer Wine. The graveyard of many an actors career. I'm not serious by the way.

    2 Dads Army(Sublime, stupid, classic English humour from a time gone by...timeless, acting is second to none).
    3 Steptoe & Son(Wondeful writing filled with pathos).
    4 Hancock (Ground Breaking).
    5 Mash. (Loved it, superb characters that bounced off each other).
  • Yes I know I'm like one of those Japanese soldiers on remote Pacific Islands who stil think World War 2 is going on but, although I'd heard of it previously, I listened to BBC Radio 7 for the first time recently.

    It has a lot of old classical radio programmes including the Clitheroe Kid which I loved when I was growing up.

    Still made me laugh even now.

  • New series of southpark off to a flyer. All about sex addiction and tiger woods so current its scary how quickly they must make it. The scene where they gave the monkey the big pile of cash was so funny.
