Where did you used to stand or sit?

edited January 2010 in General Charlton
Never went to the <old valley>
I used to stand in the arthur wait and then on to the homeos road
At upton park i stood at the back of the north bank.
When we came back to the Valley i sat in the E and F block coverd end.
couple of seasons in the south stand great times there were.
Then back to the top tier H block moved again to the M block.

  • Originally to the right (when facing the pitch) of the old west stand in the dip. When I thought I was hard, tough and clever in The Covered End (I soon got sussed out) Then into the lower tier of The Covered End now in the upper tier.
  • Save for three brief periods, (well two brief and one not so), I've been a Covered End boy from beginning to end!

Moved out when they first put seats in, but moved back in shortly after. Obviously when we got kicked out and then when my kids first started going I mistakenly moved to the East, but came back as quick as possible.

My current seat is by far the best view out of any of them. Atmosphere is lame - but at least I can watch the game.

  • Did you ever stand on the paddock at the front of the main stand?

    No, though not. Neither did I : - )
