The Millwall Fans in Home Areas

edited January 2010 in General Charlton
Sorry if this has already been commented on, but I just got back from Oz and missed this game.
Have the club advised if they have started any procedures to investigate who supplied the tickets for any Millwall fans that were found to be in the home areas and ejected ?
Were there many ejections ?

Comments

  • Think the ones causing trouble in the ground were those which got in without tickets, one way or another. Can't see any Charlton fans being pulled up for supplying any Millwall fans tickets.
  • Also cant see anything being done to the ones in home areas

    Weak
  • The stewards were just trying to get them out quickly, so I doubt anyone managed to get hold of tickets to work out how they'd got in there. It's poor but hard to see what else they could have done without being accused of provoking.
  • I was told that the idiots who shoved over the disabled guy as they bundled their way in were eventually arrested. I'm sure we'll never hear what becomes of them. Just a slap on the wrist no doubt.
  • If i remember rightly there were around 3 arrests in the ground and around 20 ejections

Didn't 2 or 3 of them run from the west stand and into the away end when they scored? If so there's no way there were arrested.
  • That's what the club said anyway. Police did go in and turf a few out from around the same area they ran into so could've been them. Should'nt think it would've been too difficult to identify them with all the cameras around.
  • The club has taken action, including season-ticket confiscation where appropriate.
