  • So they didnt learn from last week then!?
  • Why an inspection at 12 then? Dodgy.
  • Yeah it seems like it!
  • be a bugger if they call it off then !!, they must be pretty confident.
  • Confirmed on OS
  • Seems like thr groundstaff have to work hard on getting it sorted in the hope that temps rise.

Well, come on plaaayer - let's go. AFKA, hope you have cakes for the journey.
  • But, isnt that what they said before the Norwich game, and look what happened then!!!!!!

Yeah, Lambert got it called off...
  • Hopefully your manager will be thinking about the fans who travel and not just his players..
  • At noon its a bit too late by then.

Don't understand how the conditions can change much within two hours. Its either playable or its not.

Walsall game is subject to 12 o clock pitch inspection
  • Its a joke.

I've had a mate who's with his boy at Euston asking me to check the net for him earlier.

So now he's got to go up, hope he'll get compensated (yeah right) if it's called off.
  • I think it will be on unless the weather turns, otherwise - it should've just been called off
  • Sunny on m6
  • how are you managing to type whilst driving?
  • Buckshee driving! I'm in the back and dec is eating all the treats!
  • v cold in N.Lancs but we shall leave at 12 with radio on, see you all there

    COYR 3 points
  • On the coaches at Watford Gap. We're turning back now. Very dissapointed. What was the point of the 9am inspection if this was when the decision would be made?
  • I nearly made the mistake of making this a last minute game and going this morning

  • Feel sorry for all who have travelled.

Have conditions really changed that much in 3 hours or so?

This should have been postponed at the time of the first inspection.
  • Gutted :-(
  • bollocks for those who travelled
  • Shame for everyone that travelled, but not a bad thing for our squad. Burton was a doubt and I'm not sure if Dailly would have made it. Other players could do with the rest after the 2 games in 3 days over Christmas.

    Exactly.....
  • My pal's re-directed to Villa.

Disgraceful way to treat supporters but what a shock eh.
  • Shame for all those who have made the effort. I'm surprised that it's happened after a 9am inspection.

Any idea when the replay will be?
  • Got a text from my brother who has just got to Birmingham only to hear the game is off. Poor fucker!
  • Gutted for those who have travelled, but I suspect this could be a bit of a blessing or us in the long run, get some injuries back and another weeks rest for the squad.

Maybe a mid-week away game late on in the season, fairly easy to get to....I could now make it in a midweek and I suspect we'll end up taking more there when it's rearranged.
  • Its a good thing for the injury hit players, but its another game that our suspended players will now miss in the league!
