Maybe we should all clap one-handed?

    what does that sound like?
  • .....................
  • I'm generally against mass grieving - its just a bit too Scouse.
However if we must applause it better than silence.
  • Silence................enough said.
  • if people prefer silence then lobby the fans forum and club to try it next season.

There could also be a vote on it.

Personally i dont really think it matters much at all.

what does matter is that we remember those who've died
  • Applause is best. My Dad died 18 months ago and he was remembered accordingly.I will always recall the minutes applause, with sad but proud memories.
I would have been very upset if anyone had "spoilt" a minutes silence, which I'm afraid happens all too often these days.
  • I've always felt that a buzzing stadium falling completely silent in memory is an incredibly moving and respectful event. That said, when my time comes I think I would prefer to be appluaded on my way.

As just said above though, the important thing is that we remember our fellow Addicks.
