so i buy my brentford tickets using my credit card and get told that if the tickets dont turn up brentford wont reissue duplicates...correct me if i'm wrong but, if my tickets dont turn up, charlton wont have completed their part of the contract between us and i ring up the credit card company and notify them accordingly and they give me my money back...guess who's out of pocket ?...i hope its not charlton...

They will turn up, I'm actually staggered by how quickly CAFC are managing to dispatch tickets this season (i.e. ordered brentford and walsall at 4.30pm ish, reaches Sheffield in morning post next day)... though I can see where you are coming from.

of course they will turn up, apart from one game when they turned up about ten days late i've been impressed how quick tickets have arrived but that's not the point...it's christmas, the post traditionally is particularly heavy and the cut off time for on time delivery before the bank holidays is fast approaching...if they didn't turn up before 24th December, and we all pay by credit card then, unless i'm wrong, charlton are potentially on the line for say 1,000 tickets at £20 a pop...

If 1,000 tickets go missing, I think we might involve the police . . . in any event, the credit card company are not required to reimburse a transaction of less than £100.

I have no real idea what claim you might have, but happily that's nothing to do with me anyway!

i'm not moaning, just pointing out the bleeding obvious to the club i support that telling people they wont get a duplicate ticket from brentford actually means that if the tickets dont turn up because of the post charlton are the ones running the risk, not the fans...
