I have not been 100% behind him & my faith has faltered over the last month or so, but great result today - outstanding performance & a springboard for a great run up to Xmas?!
matt896, I agree, and logged on just to see how the positivity was flowing, and to throw one more comment on the fire. We need to match the number of negatives from the last three matchdays!
Sounded like a wonderful performance, and obviously a wonderful result. Hopefully this is the springboard for better things, as mused by Oakster.
Great result today...top marks for not just getting the three points but for sending out a message. Credit where credit is due and a bucket load is today. As soapy says...on the piss and happy!
we looked like a football team today, and the fighting spirit was there for all to see,sam crossed balls over at long last, liked mooney today and mckenzie showed the snarl we need when he came on,first time i enjoyed a game today, brillant brillant brillant.
Lloyd Sam is the key. If he plays well then the whole team seems to play well. He was on fire today and so were the team.
5-1 is a great result but we should not forgive them just yet for a series of dreadful away performances. A little run of three wins or so on the spin now and all will be forgiven!

MOTM today...back to his very best...as good a game as I've seen him play...makes the Northwich thing all the more 'strange.'
Agree he was good today, but Burton MOM for me. He was immense. I'd have him drug tested as he looked like he was certainly being assisted by something today!.

There were a lot of contenders for MOM today, at the end of the day they were all good, some more than others. Mooney's movement and the way he took the 1st goal put him in as contender. One other player to be in contention is McCleod, if he had not been banned we may not have had the forward line we did.

Not sure, I think he played in the cup games to give him a few more games and to rest other players. With our options now hopefully McLeod is nothing more than a sub. Much more effective coming off the bench than starting games.

It took him that long? *sigh*
how was racon as left mid?
Much more influence than recent weeks. He looks more comfortable there than Bailey. He had a bit more time on the ball today. His tricks are much more suited to a wide role.

He seemed to enjoy the space and freedom. He has the skill to take players on and the wide position allows him to try this more. One of our most gifted players IMO.
Dons couldn't quite handle Racon, was sliding him when they could. Bailey looked good when he got to grips with the game - very unlucky with 2 amazingly long distance free kick shots. Confidence was oozing through his veins today, let's keep the confidence up right until Yeovil please.
the game really hinged on that golden chance they squandered shortly before our equaliser - had that gone in it would have been a different story - season changing moment?
Excellent response, not least after we went behind.
I have emailed American Addick privately, since, while we agree on the behind the scenes stuff, I think he's been way over the top in his criticism of Parky. Imagine too the shiver that went down the spines of supporters of Leeds, Norwich etc.
MOM for me Lloyd Sam and Burton jointly. Also think McKenzie looks like he is determined to get in and do a job for us. Hope Richardson is OK

All credit to Parky - job well done today, and I'm proud we smashed that Frankenstein team into next week. Good man.

MOM just about Bailey.
