M2 Motorway bridge closed due to high winds

Just went out for a walk in the N Downs to avoid the match and saw that the motorway bridge is closed. Checked online and the M2 is closed between junction 2 & 3 due to high winds.

Might be an idea to divert well before the Medway towns if you're driving back down to the Kent coast. Can't see it re-opening for quite some time.

    Thanks, didn't go myself today due to other commitments but have just phoned my daughter who went with my son and other half they were glad of the warning and will come home a different way.

    Not as bracing as the walk back to my car after the game....wonderful!
