I'd be handing in a transfer request tomorrow morning. End of.

  • awful man management . Randolf should be writing while he sits there in the dug out.
  • why r u guys surprised? It was obvious when Randolph didn't play at Carlisle and further confirmed by Parky's comments after....

I wish a few of the others would tbf.

    Darren deserves his chance.
  • didnt say i was surprised i said it was awful man management. Which it is.
  • Lump Parky one

Completely agree, this has been said in the Ikeme thread on numerous occassions....
  • The writing's been on the wall for DR since the Summer. He was the only player not to get a runout at Bray and that was with his Mum and Dad in attendance. Parkinsons man management skills leave a lot to be desired, IMHO.

  • I hope to see him play on Saturday.

correct, he might have been rested, give parky a chance he deserves it ... remember we're second .. stay posititve
  • I'd expect to be playing on Saturday.

Ikeme was at fault for their second goal and missed 2 crosses early on.

If Ikeme is no better, then obviously he shouldn't be playing.

On that performance he isn't & Randolph should play on Saturday.
  • wud rather have randolph then Ikeme FACT!
  • as a goal keeping coach guys yes agree he missed a cross in the first two mins from a corner but then every other delivery he caught yes made a good save in the first half and let himself down with the goal

not siting on the fence but weather conditions dont help

yes randolph was superb sunday but made a mistake for the goal with his in decision so you cant really seperate the two ?? also if your going to loan a keeper from a premiership side you really do have to play him

i also agree randolph has sat on the bench all season and should have been given a decent run with a chance to express himself and show he is as good as Rob
  • so what are you saying then ?
  • both have made mistakes in games that have cost us the game it looks like PP doesnt rate him that highly reason he has gone and get lkeme in ?? he has played premiership and championship football i dont think he is that bad we did this last season when Darren made an error at home v southampton then we all jumped on the band wagon to play Rob he should have kept his place and was harsh to leave him out tonight but thats down to the mug we got in charge
  • Wolves fans overrate Ikeme if they seriously think he can walk into their Premier League team. I'd prefer if it was our player flapping at crosses and making mistakes for the odd goal, but in any case I think Randolph is the better keeper. I hope I see him on Saturday.
  • Ikeme has proved to be the pack the shite I expected. Lunatic decision making form a man that seems generally allergic decision making. Still, don't expect to see Randolph starting anything. Parky sticks to a "grudge" like Curbs on meth (without the ability to turn in the results).
  • Yea agreed Randolph deserves a chance (run of games)

Parkinson has probably promised Wolves/Ikeme games though

  • We need Deano back on loan to solve our keeper crisis!
  • Randolph bottled the goal at NV badly, saw enough then to know he is nowhere near Elliot's ability, therefore if he doesn't like being second fiddle then he can do one.
  • I have to say nothing Ikeme has done since he has joined us has been particularly great not that the rest of them have either. Fair enough Vic's goal on Sunday was preventable but Ikeme should have saved Southampton's winner too. I feel Charlton need a good quality reliable older keeper about the place to help the youngsters. If I was Darren I would have to say I would be away sharpish.

I was just coming on here say about your keeper. He didnt put a foot wrong against us, (maybe could of read our goal better) and then hes gets dropped last night. You wouldnt mind if the keeper last night had a good game which couldnt be further from the truth.

I suspect that he wanted to go in the summer but didn't get offers that matched his current salary so chose to stay. At what point do you take the pay cut and take the league two job?

he stayed on a much reduced salary but still more than he was offered elsewhere.
  • Keepers get better with experience. We've decided to let the Wolves number 4 (25 games) gain that experience rather than give the opportunity to one of our own (47 games) to do so.
  • There is no point having Randolph as a back up keeper if when he is required as back up, you get someone else in instead. Randolph is perfectly capable of keeping goal for us, he made some outstanding saves on sunday, yet he finds himself out of the side again. Those blaming him for Northwich's goal should probably lay the blame at the static defence playing their striker onside, not to mention the fact that Randolph prevented us from losing by even more. He's been badly treated and he'll be off in January.
