watched that car crash. Read steve comments an worried for his heart an felt sympathy for his wife. Then took a walk. Ended up in the lovely anchor listening to a lovely man crooning frank by candlelight. We didnt want to leave but we did. To be faced by coming up the heights in a cab to see two ambulances an a prone body under a blanket. Looks like another stabbing. Come on guys. I know no one will reply to this but there are worse things in life. Up the addicks. X

    I know there are worse things.I'm not disputing that.It really gets my goat when people post things like this.I know it's not a matter of life or death, and i will get back on with my life tomorrow as usual.deepest sympathy to the people involved, but this is a football forum.People are well within their rights to come on here and have a moan about what they've witnessed today.

    it may get your goat Carly love but still when i listen to grown men going absolutely mental i think that may be they need to calm right down! we are in trouble we all know that but HONEST TO GOD capitals letter as per NORTHSTANDMADSTEVE it is a bloody game.

    I think you're missing my point.I get the impression from some on here that just because a poster gets slightly irate about something or other that's happened at a game they seem to assume that the afformentioned poster spends the rest of the week with a noose around their neck threatening to jump under the nearest train.I guarantee 99% walk away from their keyboards and it's forgotten by the time they've cracked open a bevvy.

    Agree with Tavern/Curb it there is more to life and we should never compare but it still hurts like hell.

    Missed the game as was watching Henry Jnr play (more effort and commitment from Petts Wood Olws than CAFC yesterday from what I'm told)

    Henry Jnr was in tears. Not because we lost - he used to that - but because of the teasing he knew he'd be getting a school today (and it's his birthday!!).

    Some times I really really hate Charlton. Just when you think they can't get much lower they do something like this to you but it's still not like two people losing their lives.

    Thank F*** I'm not working from home as I'd be even more depressed reading CL today.


    PS is posting in on your husband/wife log in the same as when you see couples wearing identical clothes? Just asking like : - )

    sorry i had had a few drinkies and snatched the laptop when he was in the loo and forgot to sign out and sign in... he was a bit confused to come back and read a comment made by himself. i was never very good at that on netaddicks with my other user names..!

    i think ill go for another walk on wednesdy night to a place with no tellies!!

    that's what really scares me , we're old and wise enough to handle the flak but i dread for my sons in a few years , being brought up in essex(bad enough as it is) and having to support a wank team cos their stupid dad will force them too at least in sarf london we had mates that supported shit teams like millwall , out here it's all spurs , west ham and arsenal .........

    If thats the case dont think the others would care that much about little charlton

    As for the rest completely agree there is more to life, although am still annoyed a little bit. but in fairness northwich played a blinda and although we did underperform they made it very difficult for us, it does annoy me(altho bit of subject) how ppl get on parkys back immediately thats wat gets my goat :-)
