Fair play to the Charlton fans who went to the game - The club won't reinburse you, but there's a drink or two waiting for you if you're ever unlucky enough to be in Weston.
**** you, to the 'players'. I use the word players loosely. I can't believe some of them are professional footballers. Disgraceful.

GOOD ONE MATE IM PROPER SO ARE ALL MY MATES BRING IT ON ;-)
quite simply, a truly shocking performance. I wasn't surprised that a non-league team could keep up the tempo but I would have thought that after 70-75 mins they might start to tire and our supposed superior fitness would kick in and swing the game in our favour - but they were still getting into our penalty box in about the 92nd minute!!
First of all fair play to NV, they were excellent throughout and we can have NO complaints about the result, ref, pitch or anything else except our totally inept perfomance. I wish them well from this point onwards.
BUT, it's not actually that I get as angry as that watching a performance, having seen plenty of bad games over the decades I've been going. We showed absolutely no class, ambition, determination, skill, vision, tactical awareness or even BASIC ball control. I'm looking for an excuse not to blame Parky, as after all he wasn't out there, but as bad as the players were playing, he should be able to see what's going on and change it during the game and during the week. It's not happening is it?
The bloke has been associated with absolutely the worst couple of years I can remember following CAFC starting with not winning a game as caretaker, then a pathetic attempt at keeping us up (longest losing streak?) and now losing to non-League for the first time ever. One match I know, but one other teams in a similar position would have approached in a professional manner and won, easily or with a bit of a scrap.
I'm not the biggest believer in co-incidence and I fear now that Parky has used up every ounce of goodwill or start to the season generated for him and the next month is going to make or break our season and therefore possible long term future. Wednesday should be 'interesting'...

These players should hang their heads in shame - what a gutless bunch of show ponies they are.

Steve we all share your disapointment but to vent at fellow lifers with outward aggression wont help mate.
