Expect them to make a lot of signings in January for inflated transfer fees because the selling clubs will know how desperate Chelsea are to get players in, not only for this season but next season as they'll certainly get a transfer ban for the summer window and possibly even next January. Can't see them being able to attract players who are still playing in the Champions league this season though. I reckon Robinho could well move to Chelsea in January now as he'll be eligible for this seasons Champions League. Might even put a bet on...
Nothing else to say, other than this is the first discussion I have started, and I thought it would be good for me to get to ten comments (at least), as otherwise it could effect my confidence and I might feel unable to post again.

Disgusting that they get away with it yet again.
They know they are in the wrong - they delayed the appeal so they could get this to happen so they can sign players who have no doubt already been tapped up.
So the ban will run from Feb 1st until the end of June, have a bit of a break, then resume again round about the 1st of September continuing to the end of the year.
