although the league is the most important I can see the Board at least wanting a 3rd Round tie at say ManYoo to generate some income so I actually think there will not be as many chances as predicted. However, I'd pick the above.
Just play the strongest 11.............lets become one of them games where they keep showing it 10 years time, as they do Sutton v Coventry...........we are on a national tv........dont take any chances and let the whole of the country laugh at us.....

yep, definately and I suspect that's what Parky will do, strongest 11 available/eligable please, do not want to be a national laughing stock
Quite an interesting one this. The league team needs freshening IMHO and it's quite possible that the team who play NV will also play Southampton on Weds in the JPT.
It'll be interesting to see who plays next weekend if we get two favourable results.
[cite]Posted By: The Vics[/cite]Is wagstaff any good? from what i seen last season when on loan with us he looked a bit on the small side and never really stood out.
Got a lot better in the past 6-9 months I'd say. Was thrown in far too early by P*rdew and took some time to recover. More than able deputy on the RW in League 1 in my opinion.
[cite]Posted By: The Vics[/cite]At the time we had yussuf as well and he looked a better player
Yussuff only got a years contract, Wagstaff signed a 2 1/2 year deal halfway through the season. Pardew rated him, now Parkinson is using him regularly as a sub, though hard to say how much of that is down to not having many options. He's definitely improved though, can see he's got more confidence in his ability.

eee
Agree with this. A defeat here could really dent confidence. The game to rest a few is Southampton, although this is restricted by the competition rules.

personally I think it's imperative we get a win at the first time of asking ahead of what is now a crunch match with MK Dons on the 14th
plus we need to try and get to the 3rd round and hope for a plum home tie to bring in some much needed dosh IMO
