Only one attacking player has won the MOM in the last 10 games - shows where we're at!
  • southampton are nearer to all the grounds we go to
  • take out our 'local' games orient, colchester and gills and let's see where our support is for the real away trips to carlisle, hartlepool and tranmere !!

WSS observed : ''Only one attacking player has won the MOM in the last 10 games - shows where we're at! ''

Well spotted. I hadn't noticed that. And it does seem to say something. In the first six straight wins, MOM came from middfield five times and went once to Burton.

In nine games since then, only Shelvey's showing at Norwich to represent what we achieved in the second and final thirds of the pitch...
  • [cite]Posted By: Dazzler21[/cite]Charlton have only lost to teams with the initials cufc this season fact

    loving that stat....
  • Charlton have only lost to teams with the initials cufc this season fact...''

    but we've only beaten teams starting with the letters B, E, H, L, T and W.

Alphabetically that's surely our worst start to a season since AC left. If we can't beat X,Y(eovil) and Z how do we possibly think we're going to get promoted?
  • Good away following from the Addicks faithful, well done!

  • interesting Ikeme got man of the match cos he didn't have an awful lot to do, and did let in 3 (he couldn't do much about them mind).

that shows how below par the other 10 were me thinks.

Also interesting that most people here wanted Randolph in goal, yet those at the game said Ikeme was our best player. That's not to say they've changed their mind about the keeper situation, but I expected people to subconsciously mark him down for not being Darren Randolph.
  • We let in 3 goals and our keeper is MOM - thank googness I did not bother going to that game and my computer broke so I couldn't even follow it on Charlton Life!
  • MAN OF THE MATCH : IKEME (6.42)

If Randolph had played he would have got 6.43. FACT.

It truly is undeniable of a fact.. Surprised AFKA missed it ;o)
  • Great away followings, must have been a fair few on Thursday last week that said "sod it lets go." Kudos to you all. I hope we can get a decent away win soon the keep them travelling.
