Have it on CD but nothing like playing it on vinyl. My wife bought me a record player for Christmas and I’ve started to buy some of my fav albums from the hundreds that I foolishly sold off a few years ago.
Destroyed a lot of speakers listening to dub when I was younger - not built for the bass.
Dub was a regular soundtrack to many a post pub/club session back in the early 90s for me and my mates. Good tunes, good company and good hash = good times and memories. The joys of youth.
One of my all time favourite songs. As you quoted it, I’ll admit to hearing it for the first time when it was used in Boyz N The Hood, which incidentally is one of my favourite films.
