Roy Ayers, West Coast Vibes. Found an original copy from 1963 a few years ago to finish off my collection of his albums but haven’t been able to play it as I didn’t have a turntable. My wife got me one for Christmas so have finally got round to listening to it.
This has to be one of the best long running threads on CL.

An excellent band, in my opinion, fronted by Ms Jerney Kaagman.
Love this song by the genius that was/is David Bowie taken from the soundtrack.
Max has now become the face of Karl Steimer the Labour leader, in Private Eye, good likeness.
Some nice chord progression in this instrumental track. I would have enjoyed this band had the opportunity arisen to see them.
