Charlie is 75, saw the Subs many times back in the day, superb live.
Never got into the album this song is from when I first bought it but been listening to it a lot over the last few days and think it's actually pretty good.
Mr Bloe .. real blast from the past .. just checked the Wiki entry .. Elton John was the original pianist on the session but was replaced .. I always find wiki musical histories very interesting, as well as the music of course .. and I love the elegance of Fred and his ballroom dancing ((:>)
Saw them on a few occasions. Not the most musical but loved them to bits. I can't sing, but I could always sing along to Ian. Great track. My favourite was Billericay Dickie. Real old time musical stuff.
