Had it not been for my older brother - a big Shadows fan - who accompanied me to record shop on my mums insistence and twisted my arm all the way up to the shop in Northumberland Heath and so I ended up with this as my very first record!

My uncle used to to part manage new model army. Got loads of their stuff, and even went to one of their sound checks. The drummer Rob (RIP) was really nice I remember, even let me have a go on the drum kit! I wasn't massively into them at the time, but definitely am now
