MISCELLANEOUS STATS
45% of the goals Charlton have conceded have been in the last 15 minutes of the 1st half.
Saturday was the third time this season Charlton have won whilst having less than 50% possession.
Huddersfield, despite impressing, had the equal least amount of shots on target against Charlton this season (3, the other team was Brentford).
Lloyd Sam made his 100th appearance for Charlton on Saturday.
Three of Izale McLeod's four bookings have been for removing his shirt.
Saturday's opponents Gillingham have the fifth best home record in the division (P6 W4 D1 L1). They also maintain the worst away record, recording just one draw on their travels.
MK Dons have kept 7 clean sheets in the 13 league games, the best in the league. Wycombe are yet to record a clean sheet.

Good stats as ever, be interesting come the end of the season to see who has the closest player averages to the whole lifers sample
charltons problem since...... oh 1905 maybe....
I LOVE these stats mate...... just love it
cant wait for next week..... its amazing Im loving this season....
If we could switch our game against Jills saturday to our place, let them keep the ball, and shorten the first half to thirty minutes, I am gonna have a largeish wager!
Great job AFKA.
Looking at those match stats I'm going to stop complaining that we can't shoot straight - five on target out of eight against four on target out of 14 for Huddersfield...
I can't be bothered to go searching through the archives for all those posts last season when a number of people on here said Youga was a clown who should never be allowed to wear a Charlton shirt again. But those who said it know who they are !!! As for the player, as you say he just got on with his job and look where he is now - our newest hero.
Six of our thirteen games were against teams currently in the top half.
None of our first 10 games were level at half time, but now the last three have been.
Gillingham have only gained 1 point from the five games where they were level at half time.
The last 30 minutes of games has seen Gillingham score 5 times (quarter of total) but concede 11 times (half of total).
On another note, perhaps these stats show we should be taking a few more speculative shots - maybe not the slightly wayward 'shoot on sight' approach Huddersfield had but with the likes of Jonjo, Bailey and Racon in the side, maybe it's about time we saw one fly in fom 25 -30 yards. Also, at this level,if you pepper a goalie with enough shots you are going to draw errors which can often lead to tap-ins for other players.
Getting Youga to play is a certain way, especially cutting out the over elaboration in the final third, could have made the difference. This in turn builds his confidence and so improves his performance.
Perhaps the same will happen with McLeod.
I do think he played better second half on Saturday though, after Semedo came on - I think he just felt a bit more able to get forward and support Youga, rather than stay back and cover him, knowing our Ace rear gunner was back on the pitch.
Mcleod has been booked twice for taking his shirt off. (Exeter and Hudds) The other two bookings were for fouls away at Hereford and Norwich.
I always think of him as a player who likes to put the boot in a bit but that seems to show differently.
Either that or he's just very good at tackling fairly.
I'd love to see some stats on tackling for individual players, not sure if they're available anywhere?
God we are harsh.
Youga was the lowest marked played for all three of the opening games, the 2nd lowest for the fourth, and the 3rd lowest for the fifth.
After six games he was still the lowest rated player, but has in the space of the last seven games, rose to be currently fifth highest, with his average rising (0.36).
Lloyd Sam since the 6-game mark, has fallen from 5th to 9th, and his average has fallen (0.55). Nicky Bailey has also recorded a similar fall.
He should have got booked at Norwich.
