Defoe deserved to get sent off today for the most vicious stamping ever witnessed on a football pitch.
I think he should be banned from the game for....ever!

Certainly should be booted out of the England squad at the very least and replaced by Dazza or Izale :-)

Agree.
However, the fella he "stamped" on was a disgrace. Went to get up, then saw the ref going for his pocket so threw himself down again and rolled about.
Still, it was Defoe, so fair enough.

I've not seen this particular unsavoury incident. And can only draw conclusion from what I have heard here.

Ban Defoe for at least 7 games, and make him train with Darlingtons reserves for the forseeable future
