Cracking game, how did they do it ? Peru deserved at least a draw, the Argies were pants and defensively inept. Peru nearly got a quality equaliser when they hit the bar direct from kick-off after Argentina had taken a injury time lead. Can see them using to Uruguay on Wednesday though and maybe even missing out on the play-off spot .

    Watched the game with my girlfriend. Thought Argentina were fortunate to get the win but the missus was over the moon with the late winner ( her mum is Argentine). Still think they will still make the world cup.

    In the great tradition of Argentina/Peru it almost seemed scripted. Crushing equaliser in the last minute. Winner from recalled, late 30s forward. Peru hitting the bar from the kick off.

    Should be a brilliant game when they go to Uruguay on wednesday night for a winner takes all match. Uruguay also got a last minute winner so they're lucky to still be in it as well.
