  • 10.45pm - Anyone know whether its pulled away from the penalty box yet ?
  • I dunno about a bus, but they had the fattest centre-half I've seen playing since I last put my boots on.

LOL - Gregan is one fat bastard nowadays. Still had Burton in his pocket all game - along with the other lump they had at the back. Thought they were very well organised - if incredibly dull - and the longer the game went on, the more I was convinced they were going to nick it. I've been surprised at how clean this division is. I can't remember a single challenge that you would consider 'dangerous' all season long. We played at least ten sides last year who were infinitely more physical than anything I've seen down the Valley all season.
  • Agreed, there have been some 'physical' games but no really dirty stuff. When's the Millwall game?

He was talking about on the pitch not off the pitch i think. ;o)
  • How long was the ball in play for the second half? I thought Paddy Kenny was a timewasting git but their keeper took it to a new level.
  • Their keeper was embarassing to football as a whole, theres cheating then theres being kin ridicolous, he was the latter. next time he plays us i'll be sure to wear my sunglasses, and a few glass bottles
  • [cite]Posted By: Boreham fan on another forum[/cite]Oh you mean when he didn't even have the ball in his hands due to the multi-ball system not applying for away teams? I doubt we'll see a replay of it but he was trying to retreive the ball, admited we played for the draw but the ref bottled it today, we frustrated you on the pitch and you took it out everytime we had a throw-in or goalkick which the ref gave into, hence the sarcastic shouts from our stand. I'd take a draw it wasn't like we had any clear chances to win it, but I'm not happy with the bookings they were clearly influenced by the crowd

Bookings influenced by the crowd? I counted about a dozen times the goalkeeper handed the ball much over 6 seconds, 18 out of his 20 goalkicks took about 10 seconds. Also was it me, or did every Oldham player fall to the floor with a little shoulder barge? Football didn't win today, timewasting and bus parking did.
