  • If Charlton win today they will be level with Leeds at the top of the league. If they don't, they won't.
  • off we go then.....to where i'm not sure
  • unchanged team in the end then eh!

still no Semedo... but Richardson and Sam are ok to start...

    3 strikers on bench

  • i am unwell and havent been able to make the game today, is anywhere showing the game live?
  • 18 gone and nothing happened. All neat and tidy, but no end product. Oldham look like they are going to be tight to breakdown. Crowd v subdued, but in fairness nothing has happened. Possession all us
  • I think it's live on Radio5 909mw
  • Come on Charlton. please score before half time. we need a win today.

  • good going guys 30 mins in and a dozen comments

    coyr
  • listening on cafc \player not much to mention but one shot from spring
  • 30 gone and crowd starting to get a little restless. Were having lots of possession but don't look like were going to get in behind them. Fair pen shout for them on their only time in our box. A frustrating afternoon so far
  • Our crowd sounds non existent, wouldnt be surprised if i start to hear some boos in a minute!
  • spring almost scored

Steve Claridge is commentating on five live. Absolute dickhead!!!

Apparently Racon, Shelvey and Bailey don't like to pull the strings in midfield and its Matt Spring who does so.

I've had to turn off the radio cos of Steve Claridge, all he has been doing is moan about Charlton. The fact is, we are 2nd in the league and could go top today. You don't play well the whole time, Manchester United don't always play brilliant.
Don't understand how this bloke has made it onto radio and TV! He looks like a tramp, has a boring voice and is EX Millwall.

    Rant over.
  • Did I just hear Dowie say that Randolph was playing on SSN?

Yep. He's said it a few times.
  • radio 5 live claims the worst 45 minutes they have seen this season........did not seem to happy
  • Probably the first game theyve seen outside the premiership

Glad to see he was paying attention to our youth set up when he was our manager.....
  • Well, it's hardly an enthralling sounding game for the neutral, is it? Charlton v Oldham. It's just one of those rare occasions when two athletic sides meet.
  • England game also on 5 live......after the Charlton game....
  • Shock horror - from the lofty heights of the North upper, Spring looks like he's having a decent game. Its f***ing dull though, and Abbott is getting the better of Llera far too often. Our best bet looks to be Llera's diagonal balls out of defence for Burton/Sam to try and get on the end of - we can knock the ball around in the middle all day long but we aint going to get through them in the middle
  • It's getting harder and harder to break through at home playing 4-5-1. We need to start varying our game plan.
  • Queensland is right, can't see us scoring today with this formation. Bring on mc clown
  • But this formation should be more like a 4-3-3 with Bailey drifting in and Shelvey supporting Burton. The only problem is if the opposition have been doing thier homework on us, it becomes very predictable to suss us out.
  • Charlton pick it up corner
  • This has got all the hallmarks of a disaster waiting to happen. Hope I'm wrong but we've all been here so many times before. CAFC never make things easy for us!
