Author Jonathan Acworth -Posted 03/10/2009 at 02:08 PM
Ive noticed that Dartford are top at the moment and some former players are putting in some impressive performances ie Flanagan and Gross im thinking we should at least snap them up while theyre on the cheap i think we could get both of them for around £50,000.
Somebody put him out of his misery!

And while we're there Tony Burman can come and play up front again like he did in the 70s......
i hope he never finds this site as i think i would have to find some way in banning him.
does any one know who he is
His posts on the OS make me laugh out loud at work. He should be on some comedy show.
Dartfords website says this about Flanagan:
"Adam Flanagan - No-nonsense defender who joined the club during the summer of 2007 from Folkestone Invicta. A former trainee with Gillingham, he joined St Leonards from Dagenham & Redbridge in December 1997. He subsequently made the short move to Hastings at the start of the 2001-02 season and finished his first campaign at the club with an Eastern Division championship-winning medal. Adam is the son of former England youth international and Charlton Athletic striker Mike Flanagan, who made over 450 Football League appearances. Adam is a former Player of the Year at both Hastings and St Leonards and was Invicta's Players' Player of the Year for the past three seasons"
So the guy must be at least 30. Good move Acworth, lets sign players of below conference standard who are over 30!!
And Gross is a former youth player here we released probably 5 years ago now, has slowly dropped down the leagues.
Tbd his goslscoring was something like 120 in 120 games - he was pretty prolific
