Ive noticed that Dartford are top at the moment and some former players are putting in some impressive performances ie Flanagan and Gross im thinking we should at least snap them up while theyre on the cheap i think we could get both of them for around £50,000.

Somebody put him out of his misery!

And while we're there Tony Burman can come and play up front again like he did in the 70s......
  • i was thinking after the fall of our page on team talk he would have found someting to take up his time. like becoming a window licker sorry window cleaner. i have never heard anyone speak so much s**t as this man if any of you used to look at teamtalk you would know what i mean. this man would have squad of about 200 players by now if he had his way we would be called afc charlton play on wollwich common and have the best squad in the land all paid for with his pocket money. he wants to buy every single player outside of the top 4 divisions the man is demented. but he is very amusing i bet his mum still turns his bed down for him.
i hope he never finds this site as i think i would have to find some way in banning him.
does any one know who he is
  • He does it for a laugh.
  • you honestly tink so no man can be as funny as him and mean to be
  • Getting a lot of tail tbf
  • Jonathan Acworth, what a star.

His posts on the OS make me laugh out loud at work. He should be on some comedy show.
  • Whatever happened to Steve Portway, Ackworth used to worship that bloke
  • He used to bag 30 plus a season for the wings or gravesend can't remeber think, curbs and gritty scouted him sure I read somewhere we couldn't afford him... and some think we've got it bad now..

Dartfords website says this about Flanagan:

"Adam Flanagan - No-nonsense defender who joined the club during the summer of 2007 from Folkestone Invicta. A former trainee with Gillingham, he joined St Leonards from Dagenham & Redbridge in December 1997. He subsequently made the short move to Hastings at the start of the 2001-02 season and finished his first campaign at the club with an Eastern Division championship-winning medal. Adam is the son of former England youth international and Charlton Athletic striker Mike Flanagan, who made over 450 Football League appearances. Adam is a former Player of the Year at both Hastings and St Leonards and was Invicta's Players' Player of the Year for the past three seasons"

So the guy must be at least 30. Good move Acworth, lets sign players of below conference standard who are over 30!!
  • Portway had to finish because of a serious eye injury (I believe he either lost an eye or the sight in an eye).

And Gross is a former youth player here we released probably 5 years ago now, has slowly dropped down the leagues.

I played against his 5 or 6 years ago - bastard lobbed me but I was saved by the crossbar!
Tbd his goslscoring was something like 120 in 120 games - he was pretty prolific
