Yeah fair play to them, they don't get too many for home games but bought a couple of hundred down tonight and were fairly vocal. Not a bad team too, liked the look of O'Flynn
They were like European ultra type fans, they brought a drum and were repeating what some bloke was shouting at them. Not my thing but atleast they got behind their team instead of abusing the opposition like the dullards who follow us, 'you're support is facking shite'. I wonder where the Barnet boys were at the pre-season game?
No way did they bring down a couple of thousand, they only had 2 blocks.
Over the years I've taken particular notice (especially at away grounds) as to the level of what I call "Negative Support" by that I mean the amount of chants and songs directed at the oppo as compaired to "Positive Support" which is aimed at encouraging ones own team/club.
Reading used to win this hands down(or certainly did whilst they were at Elm Park)....90% of their chants were made for the purpose of slagging off the oppo.
My dislike of Reading is born out of the fact that their fans spent half the game telling us we were 'going down with the (insert team name)' in our 2-0 defeat at the Madejski even though they'd only been in the Prem for about 10 minutes. So I don't think they've changed...............
Hopefully we'll swap leagues at the end of the season................
I thought they were a really cute little set of fans, very bizzare night all round really for lots of reasons, bit like the old days at upton park!? And well worth a fiver just to see bailey and waggy's goals, real quality!

Really enjoyed the hidey hidey hidey ho chant. Was that WBA who used to do it? Brings me back to days when whole ends of a ground would seethe to the boing song. Good fun and couldn't really care about N London v S London. I got bored with you dirty northern bastard about two years after I started going.

Two Ejections last night One Cafc & One Barnet[/quote]
Indeed it was one of the lads by us second half that got ejected for.... wait for it swearing, if thats the case there was about 50 of us the the corner all chanting so surely it should be the lot of us ejected? and a hell of a lot on a saturday?
5,267 plus me four months ago at the Underhill. Neat stadium, fun crowd. Nevertheless, tough for their supporters to rip others... the match I went to was sponsored by "Chlamydia Screening."

Didnt get that at all - nor the singing to us that we're "the scum of south London"??
