This aint a moan

but I'm just a little dissapointed we didn't take all 3 points.
I, as would most of us, would have been quite happy with a point from todays game(particularly after Tuesdays fiasco) but having watched (thanks to Bart & Co) our second half possesion, I'm just a tad miffed that our final ball didn't match our possesion and approach play....we thoroughly outplayed them.
First half was 50/50, second half was 75/25 to us.

  • good sign then if we can be disappointed with an away point at the leaders.
  • Yes Henry...I'm not exactly totally dissapointed....probably more frustrated if anything....we should have won it with the amount of possesion we had, but hey, we still did great.
  • I had a tenner on us at 10/3. Could easilly have won too.
  • Thought that some of our players were in a different class today compared to them!..... Sodje especially thought he made a big difference and stood up to them . Racon was effective as well.
In the end they resorted to trying to lob Elliott, and there game plan to overun us failed. Grayson looked by far the less compossed of the two managers. Agree about the final ball comment sound but after midweek delighted we stood up against a physical side!
and we played some crisp, neat football especially against a fancied side. So yes will settle for a point.

Agree with you Soundy I too feel a little disappointed, they were there for the taking today. Screamed at Mcleod when he didn't thread the ball to Racon, instead trying to go for glory
  • Leeds are undefeated this season, a draws fine. we may have had more possession, but we didn't look like we had a scorer among us today, neither did they. no other team can boast a clean sheet at Elland Road this season, and considering our defence has been our downfall most of the time, 0-0 is good.

Leeds were heavily odds on for this match, a draws a fair result. :-)
  • don't worry soundas, there'll be plenty of people ready to have a monad about something
expect to hear the lack of plan b mantra as usual

After Tuesday's fiasco I imagine that the priority was not to lose but from what I saw and heard we could have nicked it.
  • the wind didnt help much, got very scrappy because of it and was difficult for much passing football to be played.
