Bits and pieces of media work, was interviewed recently for a radio 4 story on how footballers spend their money, owns property here and in Bournemouth
Was on talksport yesterday with brazil and irani , doing his B licence and some media stuff then probably going to go to Colchester to work with the youths. Sounded like he hadn't given up on playing but would have thought he wouldn't play for anyone out of the Essex/east anglian/Suffolk/London regions

Also said that the Ipswich days were the best days of his footballing life. Never did take to him, really.
Liked him as a person, utterly mundane as a pundit though a little more sober and lucid than Brazil.
It's understandable at Ipswich, he had an excellent career there. For us he was useful but nowhere near as effective as those Ipswich days, whether it was injury or not for many seasons he looked no better than average. Still average was better than most, shame it means paying 25 grand a week for it though.
He was in the studio for ESPN a few weeks back for Liverpool v Villa, looks like he could do well in the media but reckon he will try and become a coach somewhere soonish
