  • Not how I read it Salad. I don't think he's saying anything is close to be agreed, just that they're still very much looking to sell - this investment isn't the old guard deciding to give it one more go, rather they are steadying the boat and buying themsleves some breathing room.

    Perhaps they felt the club was too much of a basket case before and felt it weakened their hand in negotiations - perhaps a bit of speculating to accumulate is going on here.
