  • PERSEPHONE
    Gender: Feminine
    Usage: Greek Mythology
    Other Scripts: Περσεφονη (Ancient Greek)
    Pronounced: pər-SEF-ə-nee (English) [key]

Meaning unknown, perhaps related to Greek περθω (pertho) "to destroy" and φονη (phone) "murder". In Greek myth she was the daughter of Demeter and Zeus. She was abducted to the underworld by Hades, but was eventually allowed to return to the surface for part of the year. The result of her comings and goings is the changing of the seasons.

    Still a shocking name....poor girl.
  • not bad if she is called persephone giankopolopodopolopodoporolopodus
  • Kids can become a mascot from the age of five, get a free kit, however the kits that are sold in the shop start from the ages of 7-8............something isnt adding up here, as the club pointed that they elected not to sell kits for under 7's as they were was not the demand, however, there is a demand for adults to pay £250 for a mascot package.

I still maintain that the merchandising at the club is something to be desired, even when we were in the premiership, and is a source of revenue that is being blocked due to lack of understanding what the fans demand
  • think 250 is too steep particularly for a league 1 club, what do you get for it?
