Sounds a very grounded lad and i was particularly interested to hear him say that he talks to John Bostock at Spurs, and although Jonjo says Bostock is happy, he thinks he'd have been better off staying at Palace and playing first team football.
Jonjo interview
Comments
"I've never wanted to leave Charlton... I've always wanted to be at Charlton"
"I just concentrate on playing for Charlton"
"The team spirit in the team is proper good"
"Obviously if I'm good enough, I'll score"
"I still talk to John Bostock ... I know he's happy, but he'd be a lot more happy if he were playing first team football"
There was an interesting article in the Telegraph about 6 months ago, where Jonjo and Bostock were interviewed at the U-17 training together. I seem to remember Jonjo made it very clear that at Charlton he feels he can play regular 1st team football, which is so important to him at this stage of his career.
Bostock bewailed the fact that he's marginalised at Spurs, can't get 1st team football and seemed to make it clear that he regretted leaving Palace so early in his career.
Jonjo no doubt listens to what his mate has to say.
