[cite]Posted By: letthegoodtimesroll[/cite]its a man's game and so far it looks like the refs in this division seem to see i that way...i may not like every decision but that's nothing new...
Agree. No strutting prima donnas in black in this division.
Refs will always get things wrong. You win some you lose some in that respect.
precisely, and when somebody is really hurt, players around them will always know and call the physios on without waiting for the refs permission...otherwise, let the pansies lay there while the rest of them get on with the game and take advantage of their cheating/wimping out...
I think the refs have been bad this year but at least consistently bad. The only exception was the ref at Leyton who was bad and biased - our player tackled - yellow card thir player fouled - nothing
I was siting next to someone who is a referee and he thought that the ref yesterday was bad. He remarked to me that he thought he was 'losing the plot' and that if he didn't take control, we might end up with a brawl.
He wasn't very consistent - letting the Southampton player go without a card after a long talking to, then booking our players for lesser fouls.
Their number 3 and Trotman were a disgrace yesterday, trying to get our players booked at every opportunity and provoking our lot. Ref should have booked Trotman and Thomas before it kicked off. Aside fro that so far this season, the refs have been better
From what I've seen the refereeeing has been ok, the ref for Brentford had a good game. Yesterday's was poor though, bottled several decisions - one pen to each side and numerous niggling fouls.
[cite]Posted By: Vinnie V.[/cite]We were talking in the Oak before the game about how good the refereeing had been so far. But the ref yesterday was terrible. Anyone know who it was?

It is a man's game, but should not be a thugs game.

Kevin Wright, more like Never Wright.
