That's torn it. Up until that point I was completely undecided about Dickson. After hearing him talk I'm in the 'get rid' camp. That accent makes me want to kill everything in sight whenever I hear it. And I grew up in f***ing Deptford.
Dickson was ok, I thought he would come across a lot worse than he did from the above comments.
The interviewer was crap ( reminded me of a young black Ruby Wax LOL).
Who the F**k is Dickson to tell the club what clauses they can & cannot insert in his loan agreement baring in mind he is under contract to Charlton? The more that comes out about this boy the more makes me think we are better of rid, but as it's Gillingham let's just string them along & not release him just for the hell of it I am sure their Chairman will appreciate it.

So you've never negotiated an employment contract in your life?
He's out of favour here and knows that he's behind Burton, McKenzie, McLeod and even Tuna, suppose a couple of those got injured/suspended and he was recalled. The chances are instead of getting first team action with Gillingham and progressing his career he'd be back at the Valley and sitting on the bench as cover, with his career going nowhere. Yep I can see exactly why he wants to go on a long-term loan. How dare he upset the club though by asking for something or having the temerity to negotiate something.
By the sounds of it both Charlton and Gillingham and Chris Dickson have been played to a large extent by the local media. The comments below come from an employee at Gillingham who is involved with the media side. Various local papers have been constantly saying Parkinson says this, Stimson says that when they probably haven't at all and keep getting asked to comment on something that the other one hasn't said. In that kind of situation its easy to get crass reactions and quotes from the people concerened and Scally is the easiest person to get to snap because he always jumps out of his pram because he's a cock. Neither club has come out of this episode as a result but I don't think the deal was that good for either club. We were trying to screw you down because its clear he hates it at Charlton due to relationship with manager and CAFC needed to offload him but to get as much money and or wages paid as possible. Don't blane you for trying to get what you can and we shouldn't be blamed for trying to get him as cheap as possible. Its a business!
"I wouldn't normally get involved in a topic like this but I thought it might help to shed a bit of light on the way the Dickson situation unfolded.
Normally the club does its business in complete secrecy wherever possible hence the reason why the arrivals of Chris Palmer, Josh Gowling and Danny Jackman all came out of the blue.
The difference with Chris Dickson is that several of our local media also cover Charlton so as a consequence the story has relevance to both clubs. You can do your utmost to prevent a story leaking out from your end but there's no way to stop it slipping out at the other.
People often complain that there is a lack of news from the Official Site when it comes to transfers, particularly over the summer. You've probably noticed we never once mentioned the Chris Dickson situation on this site and today's news is a perfect illustration why.

U get me blud?
BRAP. WORD.
Although you're not having 'Word' - I've been using that for donkey's years
and at the back end of that he scored some very good goals indeedee.....
i think on the basis of that interview we should let him join gills
The interviewer was crap ( reminded me of a young black Ruby Wax LOL).
What he does on the pitch and in training is what counts.
On that basis send him to Brighton.
Radzinky? well he did just use the C word... and sending him to Brighton is a bit steep, unless...
Manager Mark Stimson thinks the deal should be completed anytime soon, and says the only delay is that the Addicks want a 28-day call-back clause.
"It's a matter of doing the final bit. That could take a minute and it could take two days," he told BBC Radio Kent.
"The boy wants to come full lock, stock and barrel. He doesn't want the option of having to be called back."
Stimson added: "If he does well and score goals here and they've got a call-back on him, it can put us out of joint a little bit.
"But also the boy wants to come and play for us and stay."
Dickson, 24, has been Stimson's top transfer target all summer, but Charlton rejected all offers during the transfer window.
He scored 11 goals in 14 appearances for the Gills during his stint at Priestfield in the 2007-08 season.
needs to think about who gave him the chance to play league football.
The gills have been snidy in all this as well though.
