From the OS:
Fans eager to get behind Phil Parkinson's resurgent Charlton side can take advantage of a 15 per cent reduction in season-ticket prices from this weekend.
The Addicks' perfect start to the season has seen the paid season-ticket total climb close to 10,000, and now the club is aiming to push through the five-figure barrier with price reductions to reflect the fact that four out of 23 games will already have been played.
Head of club development Rick Everitt explained: "We know that winning the first six games of the season and the fact that there were no major transfer departures has caused some supporters who didn't renew their season ticket to think again.
"The club is keen to welcome them back, but at the same time it is right that the offer is not quite as good as it was for people who signed up during the close season. Therefore we have stuck with the original price thus far and the reduction after Southampton is not quite a proportionate one to matches played.
"We've also taken the view that our U18 and disabled concession season tickets are such good value already that there is no case for a reduction at this stage. Fans should note that we will not be discounting season tickets match by match, so to get the best value they should sign up before the Exeter City game."
New season-ticket purchasers this week who wish to attend the Southampton game can also purchase a seat for Saturday's match at the same time by paying the face value for the additional ticket.
The Southampton seat will be issued as match ticket and no season-ticket booklets will go out in any event until after the game.
