MISCELLANEOUS STATS

JonJo Shelvey has committed 12 fouls this season, the most in our side. MK Dons player Jermaine Easter has committed the most in the division so far, 17.

Charlton have had 51 goal attempts on target, on a par with Leeds. In third are Carlisle with 44 on target attempts. Walsall have recorded just 12 attempts on target for their 6 games so far.

13% of the season has been completed. Of the 72 games played so far, 37% have resulted in home wins, 32% away wins, and 31% draws. This compares to a Premiership breakdown of 50% home win, 41% away win and just 9% draws.

Charlton with Leeds have conceded the least amount of goals in the division, but we are the only club to have maintained 4 clean sheets.

Though top of the overall table, Charlton are third behind Huddersfield and Leeds in the 'Home table', due to goal difference.

Charlton like Leeds, have scored first in 5 of their 6 victories. Gillingham have scored first in 4 games, but have only recorded two victories.

Despite the 100% record, pshrimpt has yet to see a performance this season worthy of at least a 7/10 rating, in his opinion of course :-)

Comments

  • So out of Leeds 51 attempts on goal - Beckford has had 40 of them?! I know it's not about Leeds but that is staggering.

51 Leeds shots on target, rather than 51 in total.

Beckford has had 21 of those attempts

Burton has had 10 of ours
  • Great stats....

    I like....
  • This is my favourite thing on Charlton Life, fair play for putting it together.

    I love a stat.
  • Excellent stats AFKA, I'm sure this is a bit of an arduous thing to put together but it's making for interesting reading already, keep up the good work.

Youga's season long average rating sticks out like a sore thumb for me - I fully accept what people see against him but, for me, most of those criticisms could also be levelled at Llera and Richardson so I can't really see why he's lagging behind those two so heavily - if he's being judged objectively that is. If 7/10 is the par score I cant say any of players deserve to be averaging below that.

I would say that apart from Youga, the average ratings fit with what would be my overal assesment of our perfomances so far, the top 5 have certainly been the standout performers, although maybe Bobby E deserves a higher score.
  • Great work - you are the new Colin Cameron.

  • Just added, 1,303 Brentford
  • So 15,000 + Addicks again then.

Staying steady at around that figure it seems.

Maybe slightly disappointing with the success but it was a TV game and an early KO.
  • Should get 20,000 minimum fot Stains on Saturday, Henry.
  • Greats stats as always AFKA, i echo previous comment that this is the thing i most look forward to on charlton life

long may it continue, your doing a fine job mate :-)
  • You coming up Sautrday Oggy?
  • Good stats, but didnt Youga get a yellow card at wknd??

Yeah sorry thought he did just read OS report
  • I thought youga got a yellow for his body check on that player
  • So our home fan attendances seem to hover around the 15,500 mark....thats pretty good, over 5500 walk ups...should get an extra 1000 or so this weekend with the school holidays finished.....from another thread Southampton have sold 1100 so far...would expect them to bring close on 2k, but I may be wrong.

Great work with the stats Dan, its a long old slog until the end of the season mate, are you going to be able to keep it up? Lot of work involved...

  • Was told by a police woman on Saturday that Southampton were expected to sell out. But then she did also say that Brentford had only sold 550 tickets.
  • Nobody has scored less goals than Southampton, but on the other hand they have conceded less goals than the 8 teams above them.

The Southampton games have only had 11 goals, 9 of which have been in the second half - four of their six games were 0-0 at half time.
  • [cite]Posted By: Plaaayer[/cite]You coming up Sautrday Oggy?

Yep, I am now ....... and Exeter match.

Probably be in the Lib at some point, perhaps before that try out the Oak again.
