For anyone whose that bothered about how our 17 year old superstar handles every aspect of the game. Today's substitution was a peach. Applauded the crowd, shook hands with his sub. Shook hands with his manager. Textbook professionalism ;-)

Blinding.... hahaha I am going away with the boys from my football team in two weeks to Lorne for a piss up..... Ill be listening in, if they have internet ,and I just have that feeling that I might be shouting, Naked on the balcony overlooking the pacific....
Don't think Jonjo is going to last the whole 46 games this season. He will need a rest at some point otherwise I fear he will burn himself out. Personally don't think he has been that good in our past two home games compared to the rest, but then again he hasn't really needed to be.

He played a lot of Saturday's match with his back to goal and was tightly marked a lot of the time which reduced his effectiveness, but still had a good game and his pass completion rate was high.
But I too hope that he's not over-used too much, presumably he'll feature in a few England age-group squads and have training for those as well as matches to include in his schedule, but now we've got a bit of depth in the squad hopefully he'll get rested here and there.
Got no problem with teams concentrating on marking Jonjo for two reasons:
1.) He is good enough to be effective despite being closely marked
2.) We are most certainly not a one man team and him being closely marked means more space and options for another one of our midfield/strikers who are more than capable.

Amazingly I agree with skinny love machine twice in one day : - )
And good players need to get used to be closely marked and maybe using that to make space for the rest of the side.
At this level JJ will still be able to lose players enough to do damage even if other teams try to closely mark him. I'm not looking forward to the game when some team try to kick him up in the air but I'm sure it will happen.

That silver haired piece of sh** will probably try and get his team to kick him off the park.
