  • Good pics, Stig.

Particularly enjoyed the sequence of Lloyd Sam scoring the wonder goal.

And Rob Elliott doing the Chrissie Powell jack-in-the-box trick!

  • Nice pics
  • Cheers Oggy
  • Stig, is this your camera work ?

If so, i suspect i was two seats to your left, if you was the guy in Block M, North Upper, 1st row in front of the steps, with the impressive zoom :-)
  • Very good. Certainly not of the dump are you?

That's me ;-) Nice to be able to put a name to a face.
  • ha, i'll say hello next time. I was the one repeatedly shouting "KILL THEM OFF" !

Cheers. If I'm not mistaken you're normally the noisiest one in our row aren't you.
  • yes. though the area is getting sparser and sparser. One by one, i'm forcing them all away. Can't understand why. Personally, I think i'm funny......

    :-)
  • Cracking photo's! I love the one of Jonjo just about to strike the ball, you can see the pure athleticism of the man. Good shot.

Thanks very much, and thanks to everyone for your positive comments.

The camera is a Canon EOS 400d, which was at the time I bought it the bottom of the Canon range of DSLRs (now superceded by the 450, the 500 and the even cheaper 1000). The lens is a Tamron 300mm; just about the cheapest of the long zooms.
  • Nice pics...

If ever you want to make a step up in quality have a look at this lense, my son has it and the zoom quality us amazing...

    Canon EF-S 55-250 lense...
  • Thanks for the tip RedZed.

It may have been superceded but it still takes a good picture. As a matter of interest, have you just got a very steady hand or do you rest the zoom on the napper of the bloke in front of you?
  • i had one of those cameras but i sold it. Top top pieces of kit.

great photos - and better desktop backgrounds. nice.
