good going forward but was absolutely done atleast twice by thier no7, a quick and quality winger will run rings round him, but he does basics well and as stated above works really well with sam

I did notice he was beaten a few times, though he's good enough defensively for this level. He's what we need for now, even if he might not be good Championship quality.

Every full back will get beaten by a winger from time to time.
But if the full back wins most of his challenges, then he's doing his job just fine in my book,
Yeah can't expect him to be perfect, he's playing well and doing a solid job for us. Whether he can do that consistently at a higher level isn't an issue at the moment.

I dont doubt that and a vast improvement on who we've had at RB over the last few seasons, just dont think he had a great game today (defensively), but has been a very successful siging, esp on a free, and I would expect him to still be able to do a job at championship level
Good point about his injury, did forget about that. He offers the right balance between attack and defence, much like Young and Powell did for us, but so many other full backs have failed.
How can anyone say he won't be decent in the Championship? it all depends on his confidence, the teams confidence where he fits into the system played how he's managed, so many factors.........utter tosh! Looks good enough from where I'm sitting.
Most full-backs will get done at some point in a game by a decent nippy winger.....great signing by Parky.
He's played plenty of games at Champ level. He competed at right back with Gary Kelly, who defensively was one of the best prem right full backs in the 90's. If anyone talks to Leed's fans his commitment was not in question, but he did have defensive lapses.
Right so let's get to it.... his favoured position is right back but due to a shitty defensive era at Leeds he got played everywhere apart from right full back; mainly left. This is his first time in his career when he knows he IS the right full back in the squad and won't get shoved around for the good of the team, unless it is absolute crisis. Lets hope he bed's down and irons out any deficencies as he settles at right back. His pace and over lapping is crucial for this team, and people should realise how good Sam is now at protecting his full back when needs be. My biggest first judgement on a player is: Is he there when we concede good chances/goals? Yes he is. If you've got positioning, you may improve in your effectiveness; if you haven't by your early twenties you probably won't.
Semedo has positioning, and whilst I doubted him, it's been a major factor this season. Richardson is a major factor already.
Still not totally convinced by Frazer yet. He's looked good going forward at times and has a good cross, but the same could be said for Moo2. Defensively he's looked a little suspect and wingers with any pace seem to get past him easily. Maybe his fitness isn't 100% at the moment and that side of his game will improve in time, but for me someones got to be pretty special to get compared to JH.

Quality signing at this level.

He's been carrying a groin injury all week, and maybe today that hindered his game.
So if he's not fully fit, maybe had a painkilling injection to get him through the game, then I think we should take that into consideration.
Anyway for me, he was solid enough defending today and still got forward with some superb crossing - so he never let anyone down.
However, he's no Johnny H. That man was top drawer.
Beat me to it Oggy!
What you said.
Not too sure how he would do in the Championship, will be interesting to see well he does when he's recovered from his injury.

He'd be crap in the Champions League, let's get shot now
Let's just get there first please

And in the Premiership.
And in Europe.
