Off_it Junior

Have just bougjt the little fella a ticket for his first ever match this Saturday.

Am proud, excited, emotional, nervous and worried all at the same time.

Just wanted to tell someone.

(Ps. Lump your mortgage on an away win!)

  • nice one....

    lets get a win....
  • Well, the little lad enjoyed his day out. The look on his face when he walked up the stairs and looked out onto the pitch for the first time is an image that will live with me for ever - brought a tear to the eye.

Nice comfortable win for him to watch as well - although I did tell him that we didn't always win every game. He's already had a look at the fixture list and asked if he can go next week too!

My daughter was at her first game of the season today (thanks for the shout BDL) and was the first game she has looked forward to.

She enjoyed it - according to mummy & granddad, who she was sitting with, don't think the North Upper is the place for a 4 year old, she was rummaging through her bag looking for a drink when the second goal went in and jumped out of her skin when the cheer went up......she then promptly burst into tears as she had missed a goal!!!!!!

I can feel a half year season ticket coming on!.
  • Have just bought him a ticket for this Saturday as well now. Was thinking of letting him tag along with me for a beer in Greenwich before the game, getting the train from Maze Hill and then maybe having a couple in the Lib club. After the game was gonna take him to Waterloo.

    Is that a good idea?
  • you might be better off in the Oak for this one after last years shenanigans in the Lib Club. They have tidied up the Oak garden and doing a barbie every game which is quite nice... a larger burger might keep him quiet for an hour!
