Clouds and silver linings......

edited September 2009 in General Charlton
Back in the dark days of the 70’s and early 80’s our gates were low, I seem to remember we played York City when were were in the old 3rd div and got approx 5000. We all know our history, at our height in the EPL we hit nearly 28,000. Hard work and prudent marketing brought in such gates. Now in the 3rd tier and all things looking rosy we may well average 20k if we continue with this rich vein of form. Supposing in 2 or 3 seasons we return to the Prem, maybe be can expect to be even better supported than when we were last in the Prem. Double relegation just might be one of the best things to happen to CAFC.

Maybe we could consider ground-sharing with another club?
  • Perhaps, it might also be good for our away support and atmosphere.
  • The whole thing has united us a bit I think..... but its still very very early days.....

when i would tune in and here the Valley crowd booing there own players sooooo aggresively for conceding a corner in the first half, i was seriously worried about our club....

were I feel parkinson has down very well is got a team back together, and a charlton team ....

hang on I could write loads here...

I think this has given us our charlton back and if we do go up and the takeover does happen or some more monwy comes in from somewhere and charlton do a charlton again as curbs said "we'd be able to pack this place twice over"

    love charlton...
