So it looks like we will earn just over £1m from the sale of Michael Turner, from Hull City to Sunderland.

A million pounds. Yet he never played for Charlton. Astonishing, yet, incredibly not the first tinme it's happened. As most people know, Jermain Defoe was illegally poached by West Ham from Charlton. Charlton were awarded around £1.4m. Yet he never played for Charlton either.

Is there anyone else we've made oodles of cash from, without them gracing the first team?

    Yes but can't remember how much.

    We were still getting money for Defoe when he left spurs for Pompey.

    Don't forget JLloyd Samual stolen by Villa, who now has over 200 Prem appearences and the FA tribunal gave us a huge £75,000 (they even put a cap on any sell on at £50k) in what was one of the biggest stich ups going.

    I'll say it 'cos I quite enjoy the abuse:

    Played for us, helped keep us in the Premiership, sold for £12m and enabled us to buy two or three other decent players. And, unlike Defoe, Turner wanted to play for us.

    Owen Price, and yeah it was Spurs. Just had a look and he's played in Sweden and Finland, more recently was with Northwich Victoria and now plays for Farnborough.

    this Hull piece suggests we only get an 18% cut of Brentford's 15% cut - which couldmean as 'little' as £162k:
