Overseas academies,link up(scouts)and player loan deals

Is the overseas connection a waste of time or is this just a PR club exercise,can someone please tell me why we have never moved forward in this area, Given the current state of our squad why are we giving Les reed more money in january.why cant we take players on loan, we should have put this in palce at the end of last season when curbs left and contacted all of the overseas clubs we are linked with,all we ever hear is not suited to the prem, not quiet suitable to the english style or we don't have time to bring them up to scratch.RG off to valencia? will HE go for free or will it be a player swap.

    heard this week Sheff U have announced a similar link up with Sao Paulo, be interesting to see if anything comes of that.

    Bolton wanderers have a deal with a club in china, have taken a striker 6ft 9 on loan. Deal has only just started, Sheffield United have BOUGHT a club to bring players in.
