When September ends

edited August 2009 in General Charlton
I've just had a look at our forthcoming matches and September is shaping up to be a cracking month. Middle of the month we've got back to back games with fellow droppers Southampton (H) and Norwich (A) and at the end of the month and first game in October we've got back to back away games with current promotion rivals Colchester and Leeds. It'll be intersting to see if we can keep up our rediscovered excellent away support.

I know Southampton and Norwich haven't had the greatest of starts but sooner or later they must find out where 2nd gear is. As for the other two, both 100% ers, if we can get some points off them at their places then that really does throw down a marker for the rest of season. If we can get through all that unscathed then this really will be a season to look forward to. Early days still i know but it looks as though Dr. Feelgood is working his magic.

New ground as well, as they were at Layer Rd last time we played them
  • We didn't ever find 2nd gear under Pardew, don't think Southampton will!

I'm going - with a Colchester supporting mate from work. Should be a giggle - and you never know, we might both still have 100% records!
