the king is dead, long live the king

give everybody at the club their due, while the media and just about everybody else looked upon little charlton as a one man band punching above its weight, i'm pretty impressed with how the club seems to have moved on with a new man in the hot seat...not wishing to take anything away from curbs or dowie (who has also impressed me so far) but a club is like an iceberg, its the big bit you dont see that sometimes really matters (look at the clubs that have gone into decline or stagnation and its usually down to matters off the pitch)...this club is starting to look like its found a new momentum...get that east stand work started, its going to be needed...

  • Spot on ltgtr, Mr Murray et al are the captains of this good ship and are doing a fantasic job providing the forward momentum, whilst making those tough decisions, like moving on from Curbs, which help to keep the whole thing progressing, but stable.
