Only on for a short time.........work and all that.........but thanks for all the update just read them all. Cheers and all have safe journey to wherever you're going. Thanks
Our first real test, other than a frantic last few minutes against Wycombe when we conceded a late-ish goal and gave them a sniff of getting a result that they didn't deserve.
Tonight demonstrates that there is some genuine team spirit developing, playing poorly, conceding and then equalising before going on to win away from home against one of the fancied teams is a massive result and sends out a message to the rest of the division - that we aren't afraid of anyone and despite being relegated are not damaged goods who can be bullied into losing.
Saints are ten points away from the relegation zone and I seem to recall an interview he gave on R5 where he suggested that he'd like to get the points total into positive territory in around seven games. Given that they are currently -9 they have to win three of their next four games and draw the other to be on target.
[cite]Posted By: JohnBoyUK[/cite]Well done chaps, just got home to find you've won again.
When was the last time you won 3 in a row...and 2 away from home in a row...must be years?
Cheers JohnBoyUK.
We're pinching ourselves just in case someone's having a laff and it ain't really true...... he he he
On the train home. Very happy with that performance. Motm Semedo, he was immense. Crowd was amazing the players all came over at the end. Great team spirit

Prolly the last season of Curb's reign was the last time we won back to back games away from home, in fact I think we won four out of the first five away games (or was it five from six?). Then the wheels fell off the bus big time...

Not quite, BFR.
Not even 2 years ago ....... away to Southampton, Semedo sent off and as the ref checks his watch sub Varney streaks down the right wing, swings over a great cross - and there's Big Chris in the last minute to power home his header.
3 days later, away to Bristol City, Semedo suspended and Racon making a rare appearance, Andy Reid collects a dodgy ball from Fortune in the centre circle, and as the referee checks his watch, Reidy drifts wide and dribbles past 2 opponents before floating over the most exquisite cross - and there's Big Chris in the last minute to power home his header.
On train just leaving for darkest Hampshire but glowing all over. Not the best performance but the heads didn't go down and in the end we deserved the win
Just got home, fecking quality night. Thought we played well even at 1-0 down & had a feeling we'd come through. Racon is just awesome, Bailey fought hard & Shelvey improved as the game went on, thought the booking made him quieten down.
Unlucky freekick from Llera, he looks like Petr Cech now :0)

Don't forget Bryan 'I got' gunn'ed in a week'

No doubt he'll be talking about the types of players they need after the game yet again.
Well, if his proposed Hearts move has broken down, Dizzy McLeod could be available .....
The kiss of death :-(
...enough to take them down on the last day of the season
18 points clear doesnt that sound wonderful and only 10 days into the season
congrats to the lads, ground out a hard fought win tonight, will stand them well for the season
