we got 'escorted' from the train to a pub called something wharf. nearly 12 quid for 3 pints and 2 soft drinks.
heavens opened as we finished 1st pint so stayed for another before being dragged by a real aler to a brewery tap pub. a little cheaper.

One copper tried to do that to us when we arrived on cheeseyjet. He said " hang on a minute lads & we will take you to a pub so you can have a drink". You have never seen so many blokes dissapear so fast.
  • Did a vanishing act as soon as the coppers tried to gather everyone up but still ended up in the Jacksons Wharf pub, grub in there was nice though.
  • Ended up in a bar opposite the station. £1.70 a pint of carling. Very good

I had one in there, the pint was awful and I had to leave it.

The hot dogs they had were something else, only £3 as well!

Best away day since Palace away a couple of seasons ago.
