ITV's obsession with Wet Spam

FFS - if the BBC's patronage of Noocarsil is pathetic, Tyldesley's fawning, gushing praise of the number of players with 'West Ham connections' in the England team tonight is downright bloody embarrassing. If I hear him say 'West Ham' and 'Academy' in the same sentence again I'm going to seek the bloke out and strangle him with his own platitudes.

    Not quite as bad as the bloke on BBC London who kept on referring to us only as the prefix Crisis Club. He couldn't even be bothered to say Crisis Club Charlton together in one.

    What made me laugh is of the West Ham "Academy" only Lampard, Ferdinand and Johnson were actually with them from the kids through to 1st team.

    Green came from Norwich, Carrick and Defoe were poached as kids having been with other clubs academies, Cole was from Chelsea.

    I'm not saying its not a great achievement to have brought players through to this level but its not quite the same level of achievement that they were making it out to be..... What they should have noted, if they hadn't had their noses so far up WHU backside, was the number of players who had come through from Senrab. Mind you I'd be surprised if the commentators had heard of them.....

    Carrick came throught the youth ranks, wasn't at any other club apart from Wallsend Boys.

    P[ssd me off as well, the bloke is a A1 total a@sol., talks total cr@p allways.

    He even had the stupidity to suggest Green had played well in the first half.. der NOT, as corrected by Sherringham.

    About time ITV got a bit professional they have been a joke for 3 decades with there utter garbage coverage of football
