[cite]Posted By: razil[/cite]it also says short trip, does that mean he's out of the Hereford squad tho?
Short trip? To Ghana? Feck me - have they found another exit from the island on Lost then?
I know it's the other side of the water and the Orient bit might make you think that it's in the far east but Brisbane Rd - where Ghana are playing a friendly - would be considered a "short trip" by many. : - )
''Lloyd Sam was born in Leeds and raised in Senegal. I wonder where the Ghana bit comes from.''
He wasn't really raised in Senegal. I believe his father took a job in Dakar for a couple of years. His parents are from Ghana - hence his Anglophone rather than Francophone name.

Only in a geographical sense I am afraid!. Do not be fooled by the Blackwall tunnel Henry ....really a border crossing from the great unwashed of the planet thank god!
Ghana were good though and the crowd were great. No segregation, lots of banter, singing etc. All good natured.
The stewards didn't know what to do with the crowd, who were milling about and doing what they wanted. The announcer kept barking 'Will you please stay in the seat you started in, or we may delay the game.' Called the OB in at one point though there wasn't even a hint of trouble.

Yes, Hereford preview says he'll be unavailable.
More surprising, Lloyd Sam was also called up, but won't join their squad because of injury. Didn't realise he could play for Ghana.

Was that his first cap for Ghana?
